Subaru Works to Improve STEM Education With Subaru Loves Learning Initiative


Subaru knows that education is the cornerstone of a successful future. That’s why The Subaru Love Promise program has developed the Subaru Loves Learning initiative. This initiative in partnership with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) seeks to improve educational opportunity for students studying science, engineering, and innovation.


This alliance of motivated organizations includes Subaru retailers from all over the country, AAAS’s 120,000 members and 262 associated organizations to make it easier for students to learn. Over the course of this program (since 2015), the initiative has managed to bring over 187,000 science books to schools all over the country. 


The program seeks to address the growing disparity between what students are taking away from school and what the fastest growing job industries are in the United States. With science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields booming, this program is taking great strides to bridge that gap.


“A love of learning, rooted in the disciplines of science, engineering and innovation, is a fundamental element of our Subaru Love Promise,” said Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Subaru of America. “This year, we hope our partnership with AAAS continues to bring the joy of learning to students everywhere, inspiring them to broaden their knowledge with the books essential to growing the minds of our future leaders and innovators.”
