Subaru Releases New Details About The 2020 Legacy And Trims

The next wave of the Subaru Legacy is set to arrive this fall. Equipped with more safety features, more advanced technology, and even more refined performance than ever before, the 2020 Subaru Legacy is designed to impress wherever it goes.

Some of the new safety features include the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology suite. With these combined safety measures like the Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, your longer drives are destined to be less stressful and more enjoyable. The entry-level trim also includes Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Active Torque Vectoring to help you maintain control and apply power quickly and directly when you need it most.

On top of all of the safety features included, the 2020 Subaru Legacy also touts a comprehensive multimedia system that's sure to keep both drivers and passengers happy on every ride. With the all-new Subaru Starlink dual 7.0-inch Multimedia system that features a stacked appearance—one upper touchscreen and one lower screen—and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity options, control and versatility is the name of the game.

Utilizing the 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer engine, you’re set to enjoy a smooth and quiet ride. Specifically designed to cancel out its own vibrations and engineered to kick out 182 hp and 176 lb-ft of torque, power and responsiveness are all combined for one of the best driving vehicles on the road.

That’s just the base trim though. Other packages include the Premium, Sport, Limited, Limited XT, and Touring XT. Each of these trims have their own upgrades to add into the mix.

The Legacy Premium upgrades have the All-Weather Package, dual-zone climate control system, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Heated front seats and exterior mirrors ensure that, even in the middle of winter, you’ll be comfortable.

The Legacy Sport has an available option package that includes an 11.6-inch Multimedia Navigation system, Blind-Spot Detection System with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alerts. An added power moonroof ensures that you can let the sun in with the push of a button.

The Limited trim offers options such as a power moonroof, heated steering wheel, and DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System. Direct, focused, and comfortable, the Limited is sure to make every drive an experience.

The Touring and Touring XT trims include a wide range of features and build on the Limited XT options. With a 260-horsepower 2.4-liter direct-injection Subaru Boxer engine and a high-torque Lineartronic CVT with 8-speed manual control transmission, you’re maximizing enjoyment while maintaining unmatched control. What the Sport XT adds to the mix is the Front View Monitor, exterior mirrors with satin finish and Nappa leather interior.
