What's on Your Mind?


My name is Tom Lyons.  I am the owner and General Manager of Bennington Subaru. A lot of places in this day seem to have a disconnect between the management and the customer. That is something I will not stand for in my dealership. I love when people who recognize me stop me on the street with an idea or some feedback regarding Bennington Subaru. I tried to have a suggestion box in the dealership, but quickly realized people don't just have opinions when they are here, but also at home or the office or wherever you may be reading this. I decided that a virtual suggestion box is a far better idea. I have developed this page to let people know that I want to pick their brains. I want to know what's on your mind when you leave here.

A lot of times people feel that a business will ask for suggestions only to appease their customers. That is not at all the case here at Bennington Subaru. We take your ideas and run with them. Of course, not all of them can work. For example, we can not have a water slide out back because of insurance costs; trust me we had been pulling for that one. Some of the more achievable ideas we do use though, such as coffee in the service department while waiting, coloring books and toys for children to play with, a popcorn machine, new flooring, and my personal favorite idea of furnishing more comfortable chairs. Your patience and loyalty is appreciated as not all ideas can be pushed through right away.  Some things take time, so don't think we are ignoring you if something isn't done the next time you come in. Also somethings are not suitable for the dealership because they only reach a selected audience. Bill from Bennington, a virtual gaming system is not something everyone will enjoy as much as you.  We do enjoy you being imaginative and creative with your ideas and it keeps us thinking, but building a shuttle launch on our back hill might be over the top.

The point is I want to know what you think of your service and sales experience when you come down to Bennington Subaru. I want to know what we can do better, what we can fix or even sometimes just what we are doing well with so we can make sure we continue to do it. So please tell us what you think and don't hold back; we want to hear it all and we will take it to heart.
