If you are local to the area or perhaps from around here you may have noticed that driving by Bennington Subaru we do not have an abundance of options on our lot. We have been asked a lot of question regarding this so we are designing this area as a place to answer these frequent questions.

Q: Where are all of your cars?

A: When the Tsunami struck Japan although it did not damage Subaru's plant the parts manufacturers were deeply affected and as a result Subaru's production slowed. The lack of inventory is a nation wide issue Subaru is dealing with.

Q: When do you expect to have an increased selection of vehicles?

A: By the end of December we hope to be approaching our usual inventory of new cars and hope that by the middle to end of January we will be back to normal.

Q: What if I want a car that you guys don't have on your lot?

A: There are actually two very viable options for this conundrum, the first is that we locate the vehicle at a fellow dealership and we swap one of ours for one of theirs. The second and easiest solution is the option of ordering a vehicle. I will touch much more on that shortly.

Q: Won't I get a better deal from a dealership with more inventory?

A: No that is a myth of the car business that a dealer who is larger buys there vehicles cheaper or that they can afford to sell them for less than a smaller dealer. We all buy our cars from Subaru for the same exact price.
 
Why Would I Want to Order a Car?

This is a question we get a lot when we present this option to people. Most folks are unfamiliar with ordering a vehicle instead of just taking one off the lot but the benefits are phenomenal.

1. You can customize the vehicle exactly to your liking down to the very last accessory on their. How many times have you purchased a vehicle and paid for options you didn't care about or taken a color that wasn't your first choice just because it was there? It happens quite often. Our stance is that if you are going to make a major investment that you should get exactly what you want.




2. The number one reason that people buy a car is appearance but the number two reason is money. Ordering a vehicle provides you with the opportunity to maximize your saving potential. If we are ordering a vehicle we receive that vehicle in addition to our regular vehicles which makes the process easy for everyone and provides us the chance to deliver you a great car at a great price.
 

3. This process is not that lengthy. Most people believe that ordering a vehicle could take several months or even longer in some senses. Suabrus process is a bit different in the fact that the normal ordering system only takes 6-8 weeks for the car to be built and arrive at our dealership.

4. This is a limited time offer. Due to the lack of options we have on the lot now we are offering deals much further than we normally would on ANY vehicle you order through Bennington Subaru. As an idea that equates to saving up to and exceeding $3,000 in some scenarios. That is more money in your pocket for whatever you want.
