Tom Lyons- Owner, President

I became part owner of Bennington Subaru in 1995 when I purchase a 50% stake in the business. In 1999 I became the sole owner of Bennington Subaru. I have worked in the car business since 1492 when I began by selling boats. The first of which was the Pinta. I have spent most of my life locally aside from four years in Maine for college and also about 10 years in Massachusetts after that before returning to Bennington Vt. I have three children two of whom even work here with me. I also have a two year old Newfoundland puppy that you will most likely see if you stop by to visit. You will often see me around town with the dog out the window of my 1997 Subaru Outback. I also have another page on here just for me called Tell it To Tom so if you have anything you would like to say just send it in to me. (He didn't want his picture taken hence the staring off into the distance look he has)

I started working at Bennington Subaru at the tender age of 12. I would spend summers washing cars and cleaning the dealership. I have since worked

every summer here in different departments. When I was 16 I started selling cars in the summer time which went on for the next four years. After a few

years in Michigan and a year in Rhode Island I returned here and began work as the business manager. Outside of work I am an avid soccer fan and favor

Barcelona FC. The best soccer team in the world. I am a big music fan and will listen to almost anything that involves and instrument. My favorite genre

would certainly be classic rock though. I also have a dream to one day go to the moon one day.

Kevin Thivierge- Business Manager

I have owned, loved and driven Subarus for 20 years. I began working as the Business Manager in 2008 after 20 years in the banking industry. I have

been married to my wife Amy for 23 years. My son recently graduated from Lemoyne College and my daughter will be heading off to college shortly. We

have lived in Bennington, Vermont since 2006. My wife drives a 2009 Impreza Sport, myself a 2008 Outback, and my daughter a 1997 Impreza; my son

uses the T in Boston. I am an avid sports fan with soccer being the primary sport I follow and play. I enjoy my daily walks and snowshoe and hike when

I can. During the summer I like to catch the plays at the Old Castle Theatre here in Bennington, Steeplecat games at the Joe in North Adams, MA and

the Tuesday evening concerts at the Clarke Museum in Williamstown. Always open to change, we currently have two well loved cats in our home. I

admit to being a flatlander from Long Island, but wish Bennington to maintain its current identity.

I have been at Bennington Subaru since February of 2007. I currently live in Manchester Vt. with my husband John. I have two children who both live up

north near Burlington Vermont. In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my dog and riding horses. My equestrian love has led me to spend many

years around horses and with my horses. My favorite thing about selling cars is making a personal connection with each person that I meet. It is so

nice to find someone the perfect vehicle they have been looking for and seeing the look on their face when they finally pick it up.

I have been here for about a year now. I previously worked in finance and then at various country clubs down in the South Carolina area. In my off

time I play golf and a lot of it. To say I am an avid golfer would be an understatement. I am also a big baseball fan and enjoy following the Atlanta Braves.

I am also a big fan of the Duke Blue Devils. I certainly enjoy a rousing go at some indoor kayaking. I live in Bennington Vt now and have spent some time

in New York as well. I went to college on a baseball scholarship in Rhode Island.

I have been at Bennington Subaru since spring of 2011. I am a car person at heart, I also enjoy meeting new people so car sales was always a natural

choice for me. Outside of work I am kept very busy by my 2 year old son and spending time with family. When I do have spare time I enjoy cooking and
